I think that black haired woman in the Hiro's cafe when Nathan entered was Elizabet Mitchell of Lost. Cordell 19:05, 8 February 2007 (EST)

Zugunruhe

I took a guess at the word in the opening monologue (sukenra?). I assume it's an Indian word.

New Episode Picture

This might seem kind of, I don't know, last October, but I was thinking: since this episode is called "Hiros", shouldn't the ep pic be a pic of Hiro? Perhaps Hiro at the Fly By Night talking to Ando, or to Nathan (is there a cool one of Hiro looking out the window watching Nathan land?) My personal vote is for one of Future Hiro talking to Peter, but resized. Any thoughts? - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:24, 19 December 2006 (EST)

New Episode Picture

I have uploaded and added a new image for this episode. I hope others agree with the shot I chose. - User:Emerson

  • Looks great. I went ahead and uploaded it over the old shot ... that way, we don't have to manually change the image on all of the pages that use it. Thanks!--Hardvice (talk) 23:37, 6 January 2007 (EST)
  • I'm not sure if you were done yet or what, but the old image is still there at the moment. Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware. - User:Emerson (talk) 23.42, 6 January 2007

Nathan escaping

After reading the comic about the Haitian I've asked myself why Nathan can just fly away. In the comics (and the episodes in the future) it looks like the Haitian doesn't need to activate his blocking ability. User:Locutus

  • One answer is, of course, that the Haitian is actually working for Angela Petrelli, who probably doesn't want her son abducted and marked.--Hardvice (talk) 19:55, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
    • But Bennett would have confronted the Haitian about that. Locutus 20:22, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
      • Unless Bennet didn't know exactly how the Haitian's power works. Considering he thought he was mute until Company Man, I'm guessing there's a lot he didn't know about him.--Hardvice (talk) 20:25, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
        • Another possibility, which I had thought had been floated on the Haitian's theory page but apparently not, is that the Haitian can only block reachy-outy powers like bliss'n'horror, telepathy, persuasion, and telekinesis, but might not affect powers internal to the powered person like regeneration, flight and such. With Nathan's escape being the only evidence of this I can think of, Hardvice's explanation is probably the more likely. We would need to see him in the room with, say, Niki, Claire or Monica trying to use strength, regeneration or reflexive whoopass for more. And I don't know how to categorize Hiro's space-time folding for this purpose; is it reachy-outy or pointed-inward? Because the Haitian was able to neutralize Hiro's power in Five Years Gone. If Hardvice is correct, it's good to know that the Haitian has learned to control his power negation or his mere presence would undermine our heroes like it undid his father. --FissionChips 20:27, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
