Character History
One Giant Leap
At a post-game bonfire, Lori watches, with a measure of concern, as Claire goes off to be alone with Brody Mitchum.
Collision
The next day, Lori notices Brody running away after becoming beside himself with shock at Claire's appearance. Later, Lori confronts Claire about her relationship with Brody. Claire insists nothing happened, but Lori, believing she understood what she meant, reveals she had went off with Brody once and "nothing" happened to her too. Lori and Claire then look over to see Brody harassing and trying to kiss another girl who doesn't seem interested, and both grow worried.
Later, while Claire is driving with Brody, and confronts him with knowledge of what he tried to do to her, as well as what he intends to say to the rest of the school, Brody calls Lori a slut, insinuating that Claire is the same.
Graphic Novel:Aftermath
Claire purposely crashes Brody's car and seriously injures Brody. She admits that "something had to be done" because of what Brody "did to poor Lori Tremmel" and "who knows how many other girls".
Six Months Ago
As Jackie Wilcox arrives in Claire's room at her family's house, she excitedly tells Claire that Lori "skanked her way through the entire football team." As a result, Lori, shamed, resigned from the cheerleading squad. Claire eventually takes her place, but, while in discussion with Jackie about most girls unable to wait to get their uniforms on, Jackie comments that Lori is the exception, as "she couldn't wait to take it off".
