Peter Petrelli es el hijo menor de Arthur y Angela Petrelli, hermano de Nathan y Sylar(lo cual nunca fue cierto), y trabajó como enfermero cuidando a Charles Deveaux cuando vivía en Nueva York. Su familia pensaba que Peter era solo un soñador, quienes creían que tenía un mejor destino en la vida que simplemente salvar una vida a la vez. El descubrió que era un humano evolucionado con la habilidad de absorber los poderes de otros humanos evolucionados. Desde entonces, Peter ha decidido usar sus habilidades para salvar al mundo y ser un heroe. a pesar que su padre le robara sus poderes que se creía estar muerto sigui intetado ser un heroe. Sin embargo, con la muerte de su padre provocada por Sylar, la adquisicion de una nueva Habilidad, y quizás lo más significativo de toda su vida... la oposición a su hermano. Historia del personaje

Primera Temporada

Peter Petrelli es un enfermero que tiene increíbles sueños en los que puede volar. Más tarde, se encuentra en lo alto de un edificio, desde el que salta, y se encuentra con su hermano Nathan, que también puede volar. Eventualmente, Peter aprende que su poder es en realidad la capacidad de absorber los poderes de aquellos con los que se encuentra. Peter visita a Mohinder Suresh, buscando al autor de Activando la evolución. Mientras Peter y Mohinder se encuentran en el metro, el tiempo se detiene, y Peter recibe una visita de un hombre japonés, quien le dice que debe "Salvar a la animadora, salvar al mundo".

Cuando se encuentra con Isaac Méndez, Peter termina un cuadro mostrando a una animadora muerta y mutilada. Peter se da cuenta de que debe salvar a esta chica, y después de ver otro cuadro, se dirige a una vuelta a casa, en Odessa, TX. Allí, se encuentra con Claire Bennet, y consigue evitar que sea asesinada por un misterioso extraño. Él cae de un edificio y se rompe varios huesos, pero se regenera, mimetizando el poder de Claire.

A las afueras de la oficina del sheriff, Peter se desmaya y tiene una visión de sí mismo envuelto en llamas rojas y explotando en plena ciudad. Peter conoce al invisible Claude Rains, que le ayuda a descubrir que puede acceder a los poderes que ha absorbido pensando en la persona de la que absorbió su habilidad.

Más tarde, Peter visita el loft de Isaac de nuevo, e interroga al pintor sobre su asociación con Mr. Bennet. Se desata una pelea, y Simone recibe un disparo de forma accidental. Después, Peter va al apartamento de Mohinder, pero se ve enfrentado a Sylar, que comienza a cortar la parte superior de su cabeza, Peter se cura, lucha contra Sylar y muere al ser golpeado con un trozo de cristal en su cerebro. Resucita cuando Claire retira el trozo. En Kirby Plaza, Peter absorbe el poder de Ted, y tiene problemas para controlarlo. Peter libra una batalla final contra Sylar. Intercambian golpes, y las manos de Peter comienzan a brillar peligrosamente. Le pide a Claire que le dispare, pero aparece Nathan, que recoge a su hermano, y sale volando al cielo donde Peter explota.

Segunda Temporada

En un muelle en Cork, Irlanda, tres matones ---Ricky, Tuko, y Will--buscan un contenedor que creen contener iPods. En su lugar, encuentran a un semidesnudo Peter, esposado, dentro de un contenedor vacío. Le preguntan dónde está la mercancía, a lo que responde que no lo sabe. Tuko intenta golpearlo, pero Peter se defiende lanzando una descarga eléctrica de su mano libre, envíando a su atacante al suelo. Ellos agarran sus armas y le preguntan quién es, pero Peter no lo sabe. El hombre ata a Peter en un bar, donde más tarde el se cura de sus heridas, escapa de las ataduras, y desarma a un hombre que ataca a Caitlin, la hermana de Ricky. Más tarde, Ricky le pregunta a Peter si le gustaría trabajar con ellos y lo llama por su nombre, Peter, ofreciéndole una caja que contiene todos sus objetos personales, la cual le entregará si acepta hacer el trabajo. Luego de utilizar su habilidad para ayudar a Ricky, Will traiciona a Ricky y le dispara a Peter. Peter, sin embargo, se cura y comienza a estrangular a Will, a quien luego deja ir por pedido de Ricky. Ricky le agradece y lo acepta como parte de su familia. Él le da la caja a Peter, pero él no la abre, y prefiere esperar un nuevo futuro al lado de Caitlin.

Una mujer pregunta por Peter en el puerto, y Ricky le dice a Peter que se quede con Caitlin en su apartamento. Allí, Peter encuentra su pasaporte, un pasaje de avión a Montreal, y una foto de sí mismo junto a un hombre. Peter ve un lienzo en blanco, y entonces comienza a pintar una imagen. Cuando termina, Peter ve la pintura que lo muestra a él y a Caitlin en Montreal. Ella recibe una llamada, y los dos encuentran a Ricky asesinado, y Peter decide que ambos necesitan ir a Montreal. Encuentran un almacén en la intersección que Peter pintó, y ambos hallan una nota escrita por Adam para Peter. Peter abraza a Caitlin, y de pronto teletransportan al futuro. Allí, Peter se entera que un virus mató al 97% de la raza humana. Antes de que pueda salvar a Caitlin, se teletransporta nuevamente al presente, donde se encuentra con Adam.

Adam le ayuda a Peter a recordar las cosas que olvidó, diciéndole que él puede recuperar esos recuerdos, ya que tiene la habilidad de la regeneración, la cuál no sólo regenera el cuerpo sino también la mente. Peter recuerda todo, incluyendo la noche de la explosión. Recuerda haber salvado a Nathan luego de explotar, y haberlo llevado a un hospital, donde es capturado por Elle y Bob. Peter fue capturado por la Compañía para que no pudiera herir a nadie. Ellos le daban píldoras de anulación de habilidades para que no pudiera usar su habilidad. Es ubicado en una celda contigua a la celda de Adam, donde los dos deciden escapar para salvar a Nathan. Luego de que Adam le da a Nathan un poco de su sangre, los dos se van a Montreal, pero son encontrados por Elle y el Haitiano. Se separan, y el Haitiano mete a la fuerza a Peter dentro de un contenedor en un muelle. Él borra su memoria y lo deja allí. Luego de recordarlo todo, Adam y Peter deciden salvar al mundo.

Peter y Adam van a ver a Victoria Pratt, quien fue una de los fundadores y sabía sobre el virus. Peter va solo, e intenta obtener información de ella. Luego de que Peter se va, Victoria sale de la casa y le dispara a él, pero no antes de dispararle a Adam, Peter la desmaya. Ellos se enteran de que el virus está en Primatech Paper, y luego de obtener esa información, Adam mata a Victoria. Cuando los dos llegan a Primatech, el tiempo de pronto se detiene, y Hiro aparece. Hiro le dice a Peter que debe matar a Adam, pero Peter lo evita, golpeando a Hiro y dejándolo desmayado por una descarga eléctrica. El tiempo vuelve a su curso natural, y Peter y Adam siguen su camino hacia la bóveda de la Compañia. Peter arranca la puerta de la bóveda, pero Hiro se teletransporta para detenerlos. Peter comienza a estrangular a Hiro con telequinesis, pero Matt aparece y lo hace detenerse de estrangular a Hiro. Peter detiene a Matt y luego lo lanza por el aire. Nathan viene y le dice a Peter que Adam está tratando de liberar el virus, y que está utilizándolo. Cuando los tres corren hacia la bóveda, Adam y Hiro han desaparecido, y Peter atrapa la cepa del virus. Peter destruye la cepa, y entonces Nathan sugiere que deberían detener a la Compañía. Organizan una conferencia de prensa, y mientras Peter se ubica al lado de Nathan, un asesino le dispara a Nathan, quien cae en los brazos de Peter.

El Segundo Advenimiento

Immediatamente después de que le disparan a Nathan, Peter persigue a su yo del futuro, quien le disparó a Nathan. Peter lo persigue hasta un baño, donde su yo del futuro de alguna manera transfiere al Peter del presente al cuerpo de Jesse Murphy, un prisionero de Nivel 5.

El Efecto Mariposa

Peter, apresado en el cuerpo de Murphy, presencia la confrontación de Sylar con Noah y Elle, y es liberado de su celda cuando Elle knoquea a Sylar y deshabilita la seguridad eléctrica. Peter trata de despertar a Elle y decirle quién es, pero Knox, ignorando la verdadera naturaleza de Murphy, lo agarra y escapa con él y los otros prisioneros. Más tarde, en una gasolinería, Flint y el Alemán se "divierten" con personas inocentes. Peter intenta decirle a Nathan sobre su situación mediante un teléfono público, perot Knox lo interrumpe, así los villanos pueden hacer su huída.

Uno de Nosotros, Uno de Ellos

Preocupado porque los fugados puedan causar más daño, Peter va con ellos cuando roban un banco. Luego de detener a Flint de abusar de una rehén que intentaba disparar la alarma, Knox nota a 'Murphy' actuando raro y descubre a Peter con una pregunta engañosa. Más tarde, cuando Noah entra, para entregarse a cambio de los rehenes, Peter le pide a Knox que no hieran a nadie más y se vayan, a lo cual Knox se rehúsa. Peter entonces utiliza la habilidad de Murphy de manipular el sonido y así golpea a Flint dejándolo desmayado, y con la misma descarga de sonido, golpea a Knox y Noah, cuando su yo del futuro detiene el tiempo y lo libera del cuerpo de Murphy. Luego de discutir con el Peter del futuro, ambos viajan al futuro.

Estoy Convertido en la Muerte

Luego de llegar cuatro años al futuro con Peter del futuro, Peter ve que cualquier persona normal tiene acceso a habilidades, desde volar y correr a supervelocidad hasta causar terremotos. Mientras hablan, Peter de futuro recibe un balazo mortal disparado por Claire. Luego de enterarse que estos poderes causarán la destrucción del mundo, él visita a Mohinder, pero se encuentra con que Mohinder ha sido horriblemente desfigurado por los efectos de la fórmula. Luego de visitar a Sylar, quien ahora tiene un hijo llamado Noah, obtiene la habilidad de la aptitud intuitiva. Peter se entera que Sylar es su hermano y luego son atacados por Claire, Knox, y Daphne. En medio de la pelea, Knox causa que Sylar caiga encima de su propio hijo, quien muere instantáneamente. Ante la muerte de su hijo, Sylar se pone furioso e iracundo, perdiendo el control y así volando Costa Verde en una explosión nuclear. Peter es luego capturado por Claire quien lo tortura hasta que Nathan, ahora Presidente, entra en el lugar y le ordena que se detenga. Él le dice a Peter que sabe lo que sucedió, y se disculpa. Un efecto secundario de la aptitud intuitiva de Sylar toma control sobre Peter, quien comienza a cortarle la frente a Nathan. Se detiene en el medio del proceso, pero ya es demasiado tarde, Nathan está muerto.

Peter se teletransporta de nuevo al presente, y le dice a Sylar lo que ha pasado y lo que va a pasar. Sylar le dice que es igual que él, pero Peter se rehúsa a creerlo.

Ángeles y Monstruos

Peter se teletransporta de nuevo al presente, y le dice a Sylar lo que sucedió y lo que va a pasar. Sylar le dice que ahora ambos son iguales, pero Peter se rehúsa a creer eso, y quiebra el cuello de Sylar antes de confrontar a Angela sobre los secretos que ella le estuvo escondiendo durante toda su vida. Cuando Angela se rehúsa a explicarle qué otras cosas está escondiendo, Peter comienza a cortarle la frente, pero Sylar se regenera y lo golpea, dejándolo desmayado. Angela y Nathan más tarde van a ver a Peter, quien yace dentro de una celda en Nivel 5 luego de que le indujeran un coma médico.

La Muerte de la Luz

Peter yace en una celda de Nivel 5 con un tubo en su nariz que lo mantiene en un estado de coma inducido. Gabriel entra a la celda y despierta a Peter. Gabriel le dice que tienen que encontrar a quien sea que haya paralizado a su madre. Gabriel le dice a Peter que lea la mente de Angela. Lo único que Peter obtiene de su mente es el símbolo de Investigaciones Pinehearst. Mientras los dos hermanos se preparan para irse, Gabriel le dice a Peter que no lo dejará irse en ese estado tan débil. Ambos pelean entre ellos, terminando con Peter diciéndole a Sylar que el débil es él y que ahora Peter sabe lo que es tener todo ese poder. Peter deja a Gabriel en estado de coma inducido en una celda de Nivel 5, y luego se va hacia Pinehearst. Peter entra a una sala donde encuentra a Knox, Maury, Daphne, Flint, y Arthur. Peter queda shockeado al ver a su padre, ya que creía que estaba muerto. Arthur le dice a Peter que se calme y le da un abrazo. Peter, reacio, se queja, y Arthur le dice que lamenta haber tenido que llegar hasta eso. Arthur, entonces absorbe las habilidades de Peter, dejando a Peter sin poder. Arthur le dice a Peter que sus habilidades ya no están, y que ahora le pertenecen.

Eris Quod Sum

Peter despierta de sus sueños febriles para encontrarse esposado a una camilla en el edificio de Pinehearst. Arthur le dice a Peter que sus habilidades se han ido permanentemente luego de que él mismo se las robara. Mientras tanto en Nivel 5, Angela le dice a Gabriel que tiene que salvar a Peter. Peter se libera de las esposas, pero cuando intenta escapar de la habitación, Arthur llega con dos guardias de seguridad y lo retienen. Lo llevan al laboratorio de Mohinder dentro de la Compañía Pinehearst para ser usado como sujeto de pruebas para la fórmula robada por Daphne para la Compañía Pinehearst, la cuál necesita ser perfeccionada. Peter intenta convencer a Mohinder de que el futuro necesita ser protegido, pero cuando le revela que Mohinder parecía un monstruo en el futuro, Mohinder remarca que ya es demasiado tarde para cambiar el futuro. Gabriel llega justo a tiempo para prevenir a Mohinder de inyectarle a Peter la fórmula imperfecta, y Peter escapa en medio de toda la confusión. Peter llega hasta Arthur y Gabriel e intenta hacer que Gabriel escape de Pinehearst con él. Arthur y Peter intentan convencer a Gabriel de que ataque al otro, y Gabriel finalmente usa sus poderes telekinéticos para lanzar a Peter por la ventana desde un séptimo piso. Peter sobrevive a la caída, y se pregunta si su caída fue amortiguada por los poderes de Gabriel. Escapa con Claire en un auto. Claire llama a Nathan para pedirle ayuda, y Nathan y Tracy se encuentran con Peter y Claire en el apartamento de Peter. Peter le dice a Nathan que Arthur le robó sus poderes. Nathan creía que Arthur estaba muerto. Peter le advierte que Arthur los matará a todos a menos que hagan algo para detenerlo, y le dice que no debería ir a la Compañía Pinehearst. Nathan le dice a Peter que puede comenzar una investigación por medio del Departamento de Justicia de Pinehearst.

Villanos

Hiro tiene una visión del pasado, incluyendo a Peter en 2006. Peter asiste a una fiesta organizada por su padre. La noche de graduación de Peter de la escuela de enfermería, después de la audiencia del accidente de Nathan, Peter se reúne en el hospital con Nathan, donde se produce una discusión entre Nathan y Arthur. Peter asiste al funeral de su padre, donde Nathan y él recordaron cosas de su padre.

Está Llegando

Peter le dice a Claire que vaya a casa, quiere que sea inocente, Knox y Flint llegan, Claire les muestra su poder y huye de ellos, mientras que Peter se escapa. Encuentra a Claire en el callejón y se esconden en el subsuelo. Peter le dice a Claire que ella se convertirá en una asesina y en el futuro lo matará en ese mismo callejón. Claire se niega a ir a casa porque ella tiene una deuda con él por salvar su vida. Flint y Knox los encuentran, Peter se esconde y ve a Claire siendo capturada. Peter se enfrenta a ellos y hace enojar a Flint haciéndole disparar fuego hacia una tubería de gas rota, Claire y Peter escapan. Llegan a la búsqueda de Primatech Matt y Daphne. Matt le dice a Peter que Angela está despierta. Nathan llega, y discuten cómo poner fin a Arthur.

El Eclipse parte, 1

Peter va con su hermano diciéndole que necesitan encontrar a el Haitiano para ayudarlo a detener a Arthur, Nathan le dice que parece que fue a detener a su hermano Baron Samedi y Peter sube a la espalda de Nathan y se van volando, una vez que llegan a Haití Nathan pierde sus poderes debido al eclipse y caen en un lago, sin embargo se disponen a encontrar al Haitiano de todas formas, una vez que se encuentran al Haitiano, éste les hace señales de silencio, y cuando ven a Baron samedi éste les ordena a sus hombres capturarlos y Nathan es secuestrado, ocasionando que Peter decida salvarlo.

El Eclipse, Parte 2

Peter decide salvar a Nathan y capturar a Samedi aprovechando el hecho de que Samedi al igual que todos los humanos evolucionados está sin poderes y mostrarle a su "gente" que no es un dios, cuando el Haitiano le pregunta por que lo ayuda, Peter le dice que lo hace para que le devuelva el favor ayudándolo a detener a Arthur, una vez que estos encadenan a Samedi, entonces se dirige a distraer a los hombres de Samedi, disparándoles pero se queda sin balas. Por último una vez que el haitiano y Nathan poseen sus poderes de vuelta van contra Samedi y finalmente lo derrotan, justo cuando ellos se disponían a regresar a los Estados Unidos Nathan cambia de bando inesperadamente y Peter se da cuenta.

Nuestro Padre

Peter visita a su madre en compañía del Haitiano y Angela le explica que depende de él salvar al mundo, y Peter en compañía del Haitiano se dirigen a matar a Arthur pero éste le ofrece darle sus poderes de vuelta, el Haitiano dice que no podrá anular sus poderes por mucho tiempo y Peter insiste en esperar, el Haitiano colapsa y luego Peter dispara y Arthur le deja una cicatriz a Peter, Sylar llega para salvar a su padre justo a tiempo y le pregunta si es su padre, Arthur dice que sí y Sylar con su recién adquirida habilidad y deja que la bala atraviese a Arthur matándolo instantaneamente.

Novela gráfica:Verdades

El papel de Peter se muestra mediante los recuerdos de Arthur Petrelli en su lecho de muerte. Arthur explica que todo lo que hizo, lo hizo por su familia. Luego, Arthur recuerda una salida de cacería que realizó con Peter y Nathan cuando eran niños. Peter, cuando tuvo a un ciervo en la mira, fue incapaz de apretar el gatillo, provocando que Nathan le quitara el arma y disparara él mismo. Arthur también recuerda su conversación con Angela, diciendo que la herencia genética de habilidades había pasado al hijo equivocado, pero ella le dice que sea paciente. Al final, Arthur termina convenciéndose de que Peter se ha convertido en un gran hombre, con la fuerza suficiente como para matar a su propio padre para hacer lo que es correcto.

Dual

Peter is in a standoff with Nathan. The two argue about what is best regarding the formula and the future for people with abilities, and Peter raises his gun at Nathan. Nathan pleads with Peter to reconsider his position as Peter lowers the gun. Peter continues to disagree, and knocks Nathan out so he can run to destroy the formula.

Once downstairs, Peter encounters Mohinder and the two argue about what is best, and even bring up memories from when they first met. Peter continues in his quest to destroy the formula, eventually getting help from Flint and Knox. Mohinder argues that while Peter thinks he is fighting for good, he is aligning himself with thugs and criminals and therefore cannot be good. The argument continues while Peter and Flint rampage the Pinehearst lab. Mohinder comments that the formula is highly combustible just before Flint knocks him out. Peter tells Flint that he "didn't have to do that" but continues destroying the lab.

The raid is interrupted by Nathan who has escaped from Knox. As Flint sets the lab on fire, Peter realizes that the only way to save his and Nathan's life is to inject himself with the formula and fly them both out of the building. He does so, and the lab explodes just as they break through a window. They land in a field and Nathan begins to yell, bewildered, exclaiming that Peter flew them out of the lab on his own power, and that Nathan hadn't been the one flying. Peter tells him that he injected himself with the formula as a last resort to save them both. When Nathan says that he wouldn't have saved Peter, Peter responds by telling him that he couldn't let his own brother die. Nathan replies that he wouldn't have returned the favor, and flies off leaving Peter alone.

A Clear and Present Danger

Peter is trying to help a victim from a car accident to live with the help of Hesam; unfortunately it ends in failure with the death of that victim leaving Peter frustrated that he couldn't do anything to help. Peter receives a call from Claire who says she has uncovered a plot by her father and her grandmother involving the capture of those with abilities. Peter tells Claire he will talk to Angela. He hails a cab, only to find its driver is Mohinder. The two start a conversation about the possibility of evolved humans being captured. He is captured by Nathan and Noah, after telling Nathan that he will do everything he can to fight him. Later on, while on the plane he is awoken by Claire and absorbs Mohinder's ability to break free. After fighting some of the guards, he absorbs Tracy's ability and accidentally creates a hole in the side of the plane, causing it to plummet down to the ground. Mohinder grabs Peter as he falls, but starts to lose his grip.

Trust and Blood

Peter is held by Mohinder, but before its shown if he did fall or not, the show cuts away. He does survive the crash as Noah and the pilot manage to make an emergency landing and he tries to escape with Claire but is caught by Noah Bennet. Claire manages to convince her father to let him go as Noah isn't willing to shoot Peter, and Peter escapes into the trees. He meets up with Tracy and they decide to team up to stop what's happening. They knock out two guards and Tracy calls Nathan on one guard's phone to apparently make a deal, but in reality to lure Nathan into a trap. Nathan comes despite knowing its probably a trap as he wants to give Tracy a chance, but he has Danko and Noah cover him secretly. After Nathan tries to convince Tracy to join him, Peter takes him hostage while Noah and Danko hold them at gunpoint. Noah has a clear shot at killing Peter, but doesn't take it, (something Nathan is aware of and later thanks Noah for) and Peter, realizing he can't win this one, replicates Nathan's power and escapes by flying away, leaving Tracy, Nathan, Noah, Danko and his men behind. Peter gathers Matt, Ando, Hiro and Mohinder together using the guard's stolen phone, but warns them that they can't communicate like that anymore as they'll be tracked. He and the others examine Matt's drawings and decide to resist Nathan and his men. Peter warns them that from then on they can't trust anyone else, they can't go home or use credit cards and they're going to have to do things they never imagined doing to survive, but they're going to stop Nathan.

Building 26

Peter helps Matt and Mohinder take Noah away after he falls unconscious from drinking a drugged drink at a bar in a Costa Verde motel.

Cold Wars

Peter is seen driving a car to a motel where he meets with Matt and Mohinder. Peter unveils drugs that will incapacitate Noah Bennet during his interrogation. A bit reluctant, Peter asks Matt if he can just simply read his mind as an alternative, however, Matt argues that Noah is too "well-trained" and "never off his guard". As Matt gets in his head and strains his body, Mohinder protests. Matt justifies the harsh interrogation that they know nothing; Peter agrees with this argument. When Matt identifies the address of Noah's hidden storage room, Peter decides to fly there and retrieve tools and information. Unlocking the combination, Peter successfully raids the storage room and uncovers the weaponry and tools relating to Noah's previous job at the Company. Alerted to Peter's presence, Danko orders a team to seize Peter. Once the team arrives and opens the door to the storage room, Peter detonates a flash bang grenade and successfully flies away towards his escape.

When Peter arrives at the motel, he lands on a car Noah was about to steal in order to escape, and recaptures him with ease. Back at the motel room, Peter finds out from Matt that Mohinder knew about Noah's plans, however, Mohinder did not reveal this since he didn't believe it would happen. After Matt identifies another address, this time leading to Danko's home, Peter willingly flies there in order to confront him. When Danko comes home, Peter secretly points a gun at his head, much to Danko's surprise. Danko, however, approaches further to point-blank range, stating that his death would get him "exactly what he wanted". Reasoning that the public would truly see how dangerous people like Peter would be, Nathan unexpectedly steps in and concurs with Danko's statement. Nathan reveals that a team is moving in on Matt and Mohinder, and that they will die if Peter kills Danko. After a long pause, Peter flies out the window in order to save them.

Mohinder is captured early on, but Matt is successfully rescued in time. Peter and Matt fly to Isaac's loft, allowing Matt to paint the future. Afraid of an oncoming tragedy foretold by his paintings, Peter reassures Matt he is not a murderer. Matt then shows Peter a large painting on the floor depicting the Capitol's explosion painted over the NYC explosion Isaac Mendez had painted.

Exposed

In Isaac's old loft, Peter tries to wake Matt from a precognitive trance. When Matt finally snaps out of it, Peter says he knows Matt is trying to find Daphne but all he keeps painting is himself wired up with bombs. Peter and Matt are surprised when one of the computers in the loft flashes up a message from Rebel, telling them where to find Daphne, and Peter is suspicious until Rebel tells them to run and they hear Danko's team coming. Peter and Matt escape and make their way to Building 26 in Washington, DC. When Matt says he's not sure if he can control everyone in the building with his telepathy, Peter replicates his power so they can both use mind control, although it means that they will no longer be able to fly to safety.

Inside the building, the two use their telepathy to keep the guards at bay, and make their way to a control room where Peter uses the computer to locate Daphne and Matt holds off Danko with two telepathically controlled guards. Peter finds that Daphne's been moved to a medical facility, then Rebel flashes up a window, showing video footage of evolved humans being loaded onto Flight 195. Peter copies the footage onto a flash drive, then Noah Bennet activates the fire alarms, disrupting Matt and Peter's telepathy and causing them pain. Rebel cuts the power temporarily, allowing them to escape, but Danko, Noah, Nathan, and two agents ambush them. Matt manages to hold them off telepathically, allowing Peter to escape.

Peter calls Nathan to make a deal: exchange Matt and Daphne for the video footage he stole, or he will hand it over to the TV news. He meets with Noah Bennet on top of a parking garage and tries to telepathically reach out to Matt and Daphne, but Noah's thoughts warn him that it's a trap. Danko shoots Peter in the shoulder, causing him to fall off the roof, but he's rescued by Nathan who flies him to safety. With his arm in a sling, Peter talks to his mother and Nathan, who tries to convince Peter to give up and come quietly. Peter pretends that he will do this, and hugs Nathan, only to replicate his power and fly away. He apparently gives the stolen video file to the media as it is shown on the nightly news.

Cold Snap

Angela is nearly cornered in an elevator and captured by Danko's men, but Peter flies in through the elevator shaft and saves her by flying out with her. Later, Peter and Angela stand in the Statue of Liberty's crown and Peter asks Angela what she wants to do next.

Into Asylum

At Angela's request, Peter flies her to a church. He says he rescued her in order to get answers, but she says she's looking for some too. He asks her if she seeks forgiveness from God, but she says that she doubts that even God would grant her that. Angela reminisces about their family's past, how Peter held her hand in comfort at Nana's funeral, and how she and Arthur married at that church. Angela wants to use her ability to see what to do next, but cannot sleep. She says Peter must hate her for what she's done but he says he doesn't; despite everything, she's still his mother. Peter goes to get some tea to try to help her relax, and while Angela prays, he talks to God at the church altar, saying he made a deal with him: if God made him special, he'd do what he could to help people and he says that God should start keeping up his end of the deal. Noah Bennet and some of Danko's team show up to find them, and Peter and Angela hide in the confessional with Peter sitting where the priest sits. Angela takes the opportunity to confess that she lied and manipulated her family with the intention of saving the world. The two are found by Noah, but he covers for them and gives the team the all-clear. Angela then falls asleep on Peter's shoulder, and when she wakes, she tells him that her dreams have told her what they need to do next. First they need to find Nathan and Claire, and then pay a visit to Angela's sister. Peter is shocked to hear Angela mention his aunt. Peter and Angela then leave the church and fly off together.

Turn and Face the Strange

Peter drives his mother to Coyote Sands, on her direction. Angela calls Nathan and Claire to the site so that she might reunite the family, and also Noah Bennet. Upon the arrival of his brother, Peter starts to walk away as he still hasn't forgiven Nathan. However, Angela tells them that she needs to show them something she never wanted revealed, and that they'd have to dig to find the answers.

After nightfall, Nathan uncovers a skeleton. Angela reacts to the skeleton with grief, prompting Peter to ask if she knew who it was as he comforts her. Angela responds with, "I knew all of them" and tells them to keep digging.

Graphic Novel:Scenic Route

Along with Nathan and Claire, Peter digs into the earth of Coyote Sands as Angela speaks with Noah over her cell phone.

1961

After digging throughout the night, Peter, Nathan, Noah, and Claire continue to find shallow graves in Coyote Sands. Peter finds a baseball glove and tells the others he thinks it's wrong to dig up the graves and wants to know why Angela has them doing it. Nathan tries to tell Peter that she will explain it to them when she's ready, but Peter walks off. Claire goes after him and asks him to give Nathan a chance because he's trying to make up for what he's done, but Peter tells her Nathan has just charmed her and he's not willing to forgive him yet. He leaves to talk to Angela.

Peter confronts his mother about the purpose behind them being there; he asks about what happened at Coyote Sands. Angela remembers the first time she and Alice arrived, but Peter interrupts her daydream. Angela tells him her family died at the camp and that she's afraid history will repeat itself if her family doesn't pull itself together.

Angela calls the group together in a nearby barracks. She reveals that Coyote Sands was an internment camp to "cure" evolved humans. Angela had escaped with a few other "lucky ones". Peter doesn't understand why they have to be there, and Angela reveals she's been dreaming about her sister being alive. She believes they need to find Alice's body and give her a proper burial. Peter gets angry that Angela kept Alice secret, but Nathan sides with his mother. Angela states they made everybody forget, and reveals that the Company was founded from the survivors on the idea of keeping Coyote Sands from occuring again. Angela and Noah were trying to fix the current situation from the inside, but Danko figured it out. Angela starts talking about restoring the old methods of the Company, but Peter is uncomfortable with the idea and states that it's wrong. Peter blames the Company for tearing their family apart and refuses to be part of it again. Peter flies off angrily. Nathan tells them he'll talk to Peter and takes chase.

Peter is inside the Coyote Sands Café drinking coffee when Nathan walks in. He sits down at Peter's table and tells him that they need to work through their problems. He berates Peter for running away; Peter, in turn, is angry that Nathan isn't at Washington, DC fixing the problem he created. Nathan gets upset, but Peter reveals that the anger has built up over the years. He remembers the 1986 Mets game, when Nathan convinced Peter to go to the playoffs with their father instead of taking the World Series tickets. Nathan tells Peter he had no way of knowing the Mets would win, but Peter still believes Nathan conned him. He accuses Nathan of being selfish, even in his generosity. Nathan tells him that they need to forgive each other, but Peter has been trying. They are interrupted by the Emergency Broadcast Network announcing a severe storm over Coyote Sands.

After learning that Claire doesn't believe her about her sister, Angela runs out into the sandstorm to find Alice. Claire chases her, but the storm and Angela disappear. Peter and Nathan fly up shortly after and Claire reveals that Angela's gone.

Angela is taken a nearby bunker by her sister. Alice tells Angela the rest of the story of Coyote Sands and Angela reveals she'd lied to Alice about being safe by staying there. Alice attacks Angela, but Peter and Mohinder Suresh come to her rescue. As Mohinder tries to calm Alice, Peter checks his mother to make sure she's alright. Alice has flashbacks of Chandra Suresh and electrocutes Mohinder, knocking him out. Peter tries to keep Angela safe, but she tells him she needs to save Alice. Peter lets her go and Angela tells Alice that Peter is her nephew. She tells Alice she has a family now, and Alice calms. However, Alice hasn't forgiven Angela and isn't ready to join her. Instead, she goes outside and disappears.

As the group is leaving, Mohinder tells Peter he won't be going with them. Peter gives him a filmreel with Chandra's name on it to help Mohinder in his research.

Later, at the Coyote Sands Cafe, Angela watches her new group eat at the same table her old one did. Nathan draws Angela to the table, where she tells them she still wants to form another Company and bury the secrets of the evolved humans from the government. Peter tells her that they're not a company, they're a family, and they should work together as one. He tells her that the difference is that family has the capacity to forgive each other, prompting Nathan to ask if he really means it. Peter tells him he does. Nathan plans to start by talking to the President and stopping the hunt he initiated, but Claire points out he already has. The group curiously looks at the television, where a second Nathan is holding a press conference. Noah reveals it's really Sylar and that he now has shape shifting.

I Am Sylar

Peter, Nathan, Claire, Angela and Noah are sat watching Sylar as Nathan on the television, Noah tells them that it is Sylar and Nathan decides to go and confront Sylar. Peter offers go with Nathan to help fight Sylar but his help is rejected by Nathan who tells Peter he must fix his mistakes on his own. Nathan leaves and despite Nathan telling him not to come Peter gets up and follows Nathan.

Graphic Novel:One Good Hero

Peter is flying after Nathan to help fight Sylar, when he is suddently tasered by agents. Peter crashes into the Reflecting Pool in DC. While floating in the water he has a flashback to when he and Nathan were younger and remembers how he has always been forced to follow Nathan and that he needs Nathan to inspire him, But then he decides that Nathan also needs him. He flies past the agents surrouding him and flies to Capitol Hill where he arrives at Nathan's office door ready to fight Sylar together with everyone else.

An Invisible Thread

Peter finds Nathan barely conscious in his office, recovering from being tazed by Danko. Nathan says they have to stop Sylar, but nearly collapses, Peter pointing out that he might not be much help in that state. As the Petrelli brothers enter the Stanton Hotel where the President's suite is located, they are stopped by the Secret Service. They say that Nathan has already entered the building. Liam Samuels comes to handle the situation personally, confused as to who is upstairs if the real Nathan is just now entering. Peter warns them about the dangers of Sylar, and Liam asks Nathan if he's "one of them". Nathan reveals his powers by floating into the air, saying that Sylar is "one of us". Liam Samuels lets them through and they head to the suite to confront Sylar.

Sylar throws Claire out of the room as they arrive, and fires up his lightning as Peter and Nathan fly towards him. When Claire manages to enter the room, she finds Peter, but Sylar and Nathan are gone. She asks if he can fly, but he cannot. He then limps after Claire as they start searching for Nathan.

The duo gets to the lobby, where they plan on splitting up. Noah Bennet draws his gun on Claire, asking if she's Sylar. Peter tells him he just fought Sylar, and Noah asks if he can do what Sylar does. Peter admits he can, and Claire points out that he can stop Sylar now. The Secret Service catch up to them, but Claire steps in front of their weapons and tells them they can listen to her before or after they shoot.

Some time later, Sylar enters the President's limo, disguised as Liam Samuels. Sylar attempts to shake the President's hand to take his form, but the President shifts into Peter, who injects him with a powerful tranquilizer. After taking Sylar's unconscious body upstairs, Noah sends Peter and Claire to find Nathan.

Peter gathers with Angela, Hiro, Ando, Mohinder, Claire, Noah and "Nathan" as they burn "Sylar's body". Mohinder then greets Peter before heading off, leaving the Petrelli's and Bennet's alone.

Mímica empática

Mucho misterio ha rodeado al estado de Peter y sus habilidades, o su ausencia, al inicio de la serie. Inicialmente, los poderes mimetizados por Peter sólo duraban mientras la persona a la que mimetizaba se encontraba cerca. Fue incapaz de volar sin estar en presencia de Nathan, y se hizo visible cuando Claude se alejó de él, pero todavía era capaz de usar la precognición de Isaac el día siguiente a haberle conocido (No mires hacia atrás). En Distracciones, duplicó el poder de Claire de regeneración, aún a pesar de que no había estado cerca de ella desde hacía semanas; esa fue la primera vez en la que "recordó" un poder de forma consciente.

Si bien el dibujo original de los monigotes de Peter parecía indicar que sólo podía duplicar los poderes de alguien, y no sus habilidades, el cuadro que completó en el estudio de Isaac parecía bien realizado (aunque no del mismo estilo). Esto podría indicar que su habilidad está madurando y desarrollándose, al igual que los otros que tienen poderes.

Luego de que Peter descubre sus poderes por primera vez, generalmente solo usaba un poder al mismo tiempo. Con el tiempo fue ganando mayor y mejor control sobre su habilidad, y así demostró que puede utilizar múltiples poderes a la vez.

Antes de que Arthur Petrelli le quitara sus habilidades, Peter podía duplicar los poderes de otros; después de haber adquirido el poder, no necesitaba estar en presencia de la persona. Hasta la fecha, Peter ha duplicado de forma concluyente los poderes de:


Replica de Habilidad

Tras haberse injectado asi mismo la fórmula de modificación genética, Peter adquirio la Habilidad que le permite replicar la habilidad de otros humanos evolucionados con simplemente tocarlos. Por primera vez, demuestro la habilidad, cuando voló con su hermano Nathan tras la explocion de las Instalaciones de Pinehearst. Ha duplicado la fuerza realzada de Mohinder tocandolo (Un Presente y Claro Peligro). Más tarde hizo lo mismo con Tracy Strauss. Poco despues empiza ha manifestarse su poder, causando que un lado del avion se congelara y se rompira haciendo que el avion cayera.

Peter solo puede obtener una Habilidad a la vez, y pierde acceso ala anterior obteniendo una nueva. Peter tambien parece conocer las limitaciondes de las habilidades que duplica.
